Terms of Service
Effective Date: 14 August 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern the purchase and use of courses, training programmes and related services provided by The Association of Fleet Professionals Limited (AFP) through its Learning Management System (LMS). By purchasing, accessing or using our LMS, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding login credentials. Accounts are personal and must not be shared.
3. Course Purchases and Payment
Courses may be purchased using Stripe, debit or credit card, invoice arrangements approved by AFP, or other payment methods offered at checkout. Access may be withheld until payment is received in full.
4. Course Access
AFP grants a limited, non-transferable licence to access purchased course materials. Access periods may vary by course and are stated at purchase.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, videos, assessments, documents and certifications remain the intellectual property of AFP or its licensors. Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or shared without written permission.
6. Assessments and Certification
Where a course includes assessments, learners must meet applicable requirements before certificates are issued. AFP reserves the right to withhold certification where requirements are not met.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund requests will be considered in accordance with AFP policies and applicable consumer law. Accessed or substantially completed digital content may not be eligible for refund where permitted by law.
8. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the LMS, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content, interfere with system operation, or infringe intellectual property rights.
9. Third-Party Providers
AFP uses LearnUpon as its LMS provider and may use Stripe and other service providers to support payments and service delivery.
10. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the AFP Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability
AFP will take reasonable steps to maintain availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the LMS.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFP shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or business interruption losses arising from use of the LMS or training services.
13. Termination
AFP may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, payments remain outstanding, or misuse is identified.
14. Amendments
AFP may update these Terms from time to time. Revised versions become effective when published.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
